The classic Kaweco Sport fountain pen was originally designed in 1935 to resemble mascara. The pen has an especially portable design when closed, becoming a full size pen when open.
This version is presented in an iridescent blue, designed to evoke the beautiful waters off Toyama, Japan. Every April, the water shines with bioluminescence from firefly squid, giving it a beautiful teal glow. The packaging design also features a glittering wave pattern reminiscent of the phenomenon.
