'Mistpouffer' Eau de Parfum
Mistpouffer is a word for an unexplained natural sound resembling distant cannon fire. It appears to emanate from fog covering large bodies of water. In Japan, it is known as uminari – a cry from the sea.
This eau de parfum from Stora Skuggan took four years and hundreds of iterations to develop, searching for a balance between mist and water, smokiness and weight, definitive and unexplainable. The final scent captures the elusiveness of this mystical 'water thunder' in perfect harmony between natural and supernatural.
