Ideal for cutting grasses and old herbaceous stuff to make way for fresh new growth. Used in Japan for hand-harvesting rice, but works just as well on herbaceous stuff and grasses. Serrated blade copes with tough, dry stalks. Grab a handful and cut with a single, strong sawing action.
