After repeated trial and error, Fukuda Pottery have created a porcelain cup that looks like a real paper cup, but with the quality of Hasami-ware.

The outside has a matte finish, a speciality of Hasami-ware, and the subtle verticle fold imitate the appearance of a paper cup. It has a coarse texture that is comfortable and pleasant to the touch. The rim and the inside of the cup are glazed to better accomodate hot beverages.
