Fūrin Wind Chime [Tsukishiro]
Hung outside the home, the fūrin (wind bell) has long been a symbol of summertime in Japan, making a relaxing sound to announce the cooling breeze. Tsugaru Vidro handmake their glass fūrin in Aomori in the north of Honshū, mixing in vibrant colours reminiscent of nature.
'Tsukishiro' translating to "Moon White" refers to the pale, whitish color of the sky as the moon rises, when it transitions from the fading blue of twilight to the silver haze of the night sky.
