These special 'ai amu' socks from SOUKI are woven with washi thread, composed of compressed kuzu roots harvested in Yoshino-chō, Nara Prefecture. Each one is hand-dyed with indigo from Tokushima, creating changeable patterns and an artisanal feeling. Both indigo and washi add antibacterial properties and absorbency to the socks.
You can enjoy gradual changes in colour and texture as you wear and wash the socks.
