Description

Mineral Sola Cubes by Usagi no Nedoko are beautiful, carefully handcrafted resin displays of mineral specimens sourced from nature. The minerals are perfectly preserved in the resin, making for a captivating display item.

Notes

Lapis lazuli is December's birthstone. It has been used for this reason since far back in history, and there have been excavations of influential ancient Egyptian figures who applied it as a decoration. Also, the painter Vermeer was famous for making use of 'ultramarine', a pigment produced by smashing and refining the mineral.
